Bonjour from Haiti!
I wanted to let everyone know that I arrived safely in
Haiti yesterday evening. Already the Lord is melting my
heart away with the precious children! Double Harvest
Ministry is doing a lot here in Croix des Bouquets, they
employ many Haitians who are not believers and all the
children we will be working with come everyday from
surrounding villages for sunday school, primary and high
school, and simply because they have no where else to go.

Last night just as I arrived they were completing a
graduation ceremony, the last ones were the high school
ages. What a momentous occasion for these children!!
Everyone was decked out in their very best ( I had a on
bball shorts, great!) and the ceremony only lasted 4
hours!!! One little boy, Orlando( about 6 years old), walked
right up to me wrapped himself around my leg and looked up,
his smile and precious eyes nearly took my breath away and
this morning first thing I found him latched on again. I got
to help Arthur pass out braclets to the kids that attend his
sunday school so they can attend our camp. We were going to
give out 75, but I pursuaded him to keep going til all the
green braclets were gone, we now have about 90 (in the
morning camp time) and the afternoon camp will be about the
same amount of kids from the school.

Arthur said that the people in this area have heard the gospel and of Jesus but many have not taken it to heart yet. Please be praying that
sports will allow us a special connection with these people
and that GOD will soften their hearts towards the their need
for Him. My team arrives this morning, I am headed to pick
them up now! We covet your prayers for these next ten days,
I am so anxious to see what the Lord will do not only in the
Haitians hearts, but in ours as well.
